Fundraising
The DNR Grant-In-Aid Program is a large source of operating costs for the snowmobile trail system and that fund is dependent upon the number of snowmobile registrations. In lean snow years, the GIA fund can been equally as lean. In heavy snow years, the operating costs of groomer fuel and maintenance can be substantial. To bridge this gap, Sno-Cruisers fundraising events raise vital support for grooming equipment, insurance, and maintaining the trail system.
